Voices of a New Generation

Parkland was the event that rocked our nation, spurring a passion for social action with today’s youth.  These young women are on the verge of changing policies in this country through their social activism.  With the advice of a former White House staffer, discover what it takes to make the hopes of the next generation become reality.  An evening that will inspire everyone to step up and make a difference.

 
Sari Kaufman Taylor Lustig Julia Cordover

 A rising junior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Sari was one of the lead organizers of the Parkland March for Our Lives and has been an active leader in encouraging other students to make positive changes.

A co-founder of the nonprofit organization, Empower the People, Sari aims to increase voter education and participation for high school and college students  to encourage them to make a difference in the things that matter most to them. 
 

 A contributor to Yes She Can: 10 Stories of Hope & Change from Young Female Staffers of the Obama White House, Taylor demonstrates how it is possible to make policy changes. 

In an intimate look at young women who worked in The White House, Lustig shares  the wisdom those women wish they could  impart to their younger selves.
 

 A Sophomore at the University of Florida, Julia Cordover is already on her way to a career in social justice. She served as Senior Class President at the time of the Parkland shooting and has become an active voice and student leader  on the importance of gun safety and reform. 

Her passion has  carried over to working with The Brady Foundation representing this youth movement of change.
