Ariel Burger

Witness: Lessons from Elie Wiesel's Classroom

In a recent survey, nearly 42% of millenials didn’t know what Auschwitz was. Holocaust survivors are rapidly decreasing in numbers and the need to share knowledge about World War II is greater than ever.

In the vein of Tuesdays with Morrie, a devoted protégé and friend of one of the world’s greatest thinkers, Ariel Burger takes us into the sacred space of the classroom, showing Holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Elie Wiesel not only as an extraordinary human being, but as a master teacher.

Their inspiring conversations demonstrate the impact and importance of this great humanitarian and how his teachings are relevant and important today.

In conjunction with the JCRC’s Esther Raab Holocaust Museum and Goodwin Education Center
